Defending national champions South Carolina (+275 to win outright) is the team most backed by bet365 to win it all, claiming 37.7% of total bets in the outright market.
The Gamecocks have become a perennial powerhouse under head coach Dawn Staley, who in 2025 led her team to a 1-seed in the tournament for a fifth-straight year.
South Carolina is joint-favorite with UConn (+275) in the outright market. The Huskies own 27.6% of outright bets ahead of tournament tip-off.
UConn is the most successful women’s college basketball program in history, with 11 national titles to their name, but Geno Auriemma’s team hasn’t won it all since 2016. This year, UConn is the 2-seed in a region that includes 1-seed USC (+700), who comes in third with 8.2% of outright bets.
There will be plenty of intrigue should UConn and USC matchup in the regional final, as it will feature two of the best guards in recent women’s college basketball history in Paige Bueckers and JuJu Watkins.
UCLA (+500) holds 7.1% of all outright bets by bet365 customers. The Bruins earned a 1-seed for the first time in program history after winning the 2025 Big Ten tournament, defeating crosstown rivals USC along the way.
Notre Dame, a 3-seed, comes in with the fifth-most outright bets. The Fighting Irish +750 to win the title with 5.1% of all outright bets. They are led by star guard Hannah Hidalgo, who will hope to lead the Irish to their first championship since 2018.
