A record attendance is expected at Sunday's Women's FA Cup final between Chelsea and Manchester City with more than 50,000 tickets already sold for the match and the Wembley crowd could be in for a cracker.
Both of these sides head into this final in good form and both are also eyeing a fourth FA Cup title.
Capital rivalry drives Chelsea on
Chelsea are reigning champions, having lifted the trophy as recently as December in the delayed 2020-21 final against Arsenal to complete the domestic treble.
That cemented the club's place at the top of the English game and they are also fresh from having been crowned Women's Super League champions, pipping Arsenal to the post by a solitary point.
It is therefore hard to look past Emma Hayes' side winning this one, given their track record in games like this.
If they prevail at Wembley, it means they have won five of the last six domestic trophies on offer and at 1/1 they represent value to win in 90 minutes.
Chelsea know how to get job done
They finished nine points better off than City in the league this term and they know what it takes to win these kinds of contests, with each of their wins in this season's FA Cup have come against Women's Super League clubs.
They have shipped only one goal, whilst scoring 17 in this season's competition, but though they look well-placed to lift the trophy, they could be pushed close by City.
City managed to pull off a surprise win over Chelsea in the Women's League Cup final back in March and they should not be written off entirely.
They too possess plenty of attacking firepower, bagging 60 goals in 22 league fixtures this season, and that cup final success over the Blues formed part of a 13-game winning streak in all competitions.
They have netted at least four times in each of their last five assignments in all competitions and, although they will face far more resistance from the Londoners, they can get on the scoresheet in a potentially high-octane affair at Wembley.
With all of that factored in and considering the likes of WSL top scorer Sam Kerr and top City talent Lauren Hemp will be involved in this one, a bet on Chelsea to win 2-1 in normal time at 9/1 could be a worthwhile long shot.
Reiten a regular on the scoresheet
Those looking for a third bet may want to venture into the goalscorer markets and Guro Reiten of Norway looks a good selection to find the net at any time.
Reiten scored Chelsea's penultimate goal of the WSL season in the 4-2 win over Manchester United last time out and has also been pretty prolific in the FA Cup.
The winger opened the scoring against Arsenal in the competition's semi-final after bagging a brace against Aston Villa earlier in the season.
She could be in the goals again as Chelsea go in search of a prestigious domestic double this weekend and look to enhance their reputation as the best in the country.
