The Las Vegas Aces, losers of two straight games, travel to Seattle on Friday evening to take on the Storm at 10 PM ET.
The Aces have been without the services of three-time and reigning MVP A'ja Wilson, who has been out with a concussion.
They escaped with an 88-84 victory over the lowly Dallas Wings, but have since dropped contests to the Phoenix Mercury and the league-leading Minnesota Lynx.
Wilson is listed as questionable for this game, a recent upgrade, and is day-to-day with her sprained ankle.
These two teams played each other twice in a week earlier this season, both times in Seattle. The Storm won the first matchup, 102-82, while the Aces won the second contest, 75-70. This is the third of four meetings this season.

This is more a reflection of Wilson's current status, but even with her in the lineup, Las Vegas was struggling. The Aces have lost 4-of-5 overall, and Wilson has been held to just 17 points per game in the two earlier meetings with Seattle.
Tuesday’s 76-62 loss at Minnesota is the fourth time Las Vegas has been defeated by double digits, and without Wilson, their offense is a shell of its normal self.
Jewell Loyd (12 points, 8 rebounds) and Tiffany Mitchell (10 points) were the only Aces to score in double figures. Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray each had nine points and six assists, while Kia Stokes had a team-high eight rebounds.
Las Vegas actually led at halftime by nine, but were outscored 46-23 in the second half.
The Aces have scored just 66 points on average in their last two games. The team is clearly floundering without its superstar, which is mildly surprising, with talented veterans such as Young (18.1 ppg this season), Gray (14.5 ppg), and Loyd (11.2 ppg, 4.5 rpg) still in the mix.
Las Vegas is only ninth in the league in scoring at 79.1 points per game, and they are allowing 82.5, also ninth in the league.
Seattle, meanwhile, crushed the Los Angeles Sparks Tuesday evening on the road, 98-67. Nneka Ogwumike led the way with 26 points while Erica Wheeler and Skylar Diggins each contributed 15 points.
Gabby Williams had 11 points, eight steals, and seven assists before leaving the game in the fourth quarter with a sprained ankle. Ezi Magbegor had six blocks and Alysha Clark came off the bench to hit four 3-pointers and score 14 points.
Diggins leads Seattle in scoring (17.8 ppg) and assists (6.2 apg), followed by Ogwumike (16.5 ppg, 8.2 rpg), Williams (14.1 ppg, 4.5 apg), and Wheeler (10.8 ppg).
Seattle, even if Wilson were to return, is the rightful favorite this evening based on recent form, and they should cover the two-point spread in that position.
These two teams easily cleared this total in their first matchup, but this contest is more likely to mirror that 75-70 outing from June 1st, with Seattle favored to be on top this time.
The Storm are middle of the pack in both scoring offense (82.1 ppg, sixth) and scoring defense (78 ppg, sixth) and this contest should fit right within those averages.
Nine-time All-Star and 2016 WNBA MVP Ogwumike continues to be steady if not spectacular in her second year with the Storm after 12 years with the Sparks.
Although she has only scored more than 15.5 points six times this season, one of them was on Tuesday against Los Angeles, when Ogwumike tallied a season-high 26 points.
In the first meeting with Las Vegas, Ogwumike had 23 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. A similar line is expected this evening against the Aces.
