The 2025 WNBA Draft is complete, and the new rookie class has a quick turnaround before the regular season — and the battle to win the Rookie of the Year Award — begins on May 16.
Who will join WNBA superstars Caitlin Clark, Napheesa Collier, A'ja Wilson, and Breanna Stewart on the list of WNBA Rookie of the Year winners?
Ahead of the 2025 WNBA regular season, let's take a look at the odds to win the Rookie of the Year Award.
Paige Bueckers | -370 |
Dominique Malonga | +550 |
Sonia Citron | +1400 |
Aneesah Morrow | +2800 |
Kiki Iriafen | +3000 |
Hailey Van Lith | +4000 |
Paige Bueckers, who was selected first overall by the Dallas Wings right after winning the collegiate National Championship with UConn, is the heavy favorite to win Rookie of the Year at -370.
Bueckers does just about everything well on the basketball court. She averaged 19.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.6 assists to 1.7 turnovers, and 2.1 steals while shooting 42.3 percent from three-point range in her four seasons at UConn. The highly-touted guard is projected to be a franchise player throughout her professional career.
Second in the betting is Dominique Malonga (+550), a 6-foot-6 center who plays for the French national team and was drafted by the Seattle Storm with the second pick.
Malonga averaged 3.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 block in just 8.7 minutes per game at the 2024 Olympics, where she won a silver medal, and draft evaluators have raved about her potential.
Former Notre Dame guard Sonia Citron (+1400) — selected third overall by the Washington Mystics — is next in the odds. She was super consistent throughout her college career, never averaging less than 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, and 1.5 steals in four seasons with the Fighting Irish.
Further back in the odds, between 28/1 and 50/1, are Connecticut Sun forward Aneesah Morrow (+2800), Washington Mystics forward Kiki Iriafen (+3000), Chicago Sky guard Hailey Van Lith (+4000), and Golden State Valkyries guard/forward Juste Jocyte (+8000).
