WNBA Commissioner's Cup: 2025 Schedule, format, past winners

The WNBA Commissioner's Cup begins on June 1, and all 12 teams will battle for the first trophy up for grabs in the 2025 season.

The Commissioner's Cup was first played in 2021, and the Seattle Storm won the inaugural edition of the tournament.

WNBA Commissioner's Cup format

Each WNBA team plays the other five teams in its conference once in Commissioner's Cup play, which runs from June 1-17.

The team in each conference with the best record in Cup games moves on to the final, where those teams play to decide the Commissioner's Cup champion.

The 2025 final will be played on July 1.
