Will the New York Giants trade up to the No. 1 Pick in the 2025 NFL Draft?

The Tennessee Titans might trade the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and the New York Giants are the team most likely to make a deal, according to reports.

And the odds reflect that. The Titans are -140 favorites to use the pick, while the Giants are +110 to trade up and select first overall.

Because this draft has two consensus first-round quarterback prospects - Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders - QB-hungry teams are coveting the first two picks. The Giants demoted and released starting QB Daniel Jones late last season, so their main goal this offseason is to find the QB of the future.

The Giants' front office will feel pressure to turn things around as the team's record, point differential, and finish in the standings have each regressed year-to-year in the three-season partnership between head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen.

In addition to having the shortest odds to trade up for the No. 1 pick, the Giants are also favorites to sign free agent QB Aaron Rodgers, who failed to turn around the New York Jets in his two seasons there.

While the Giants are the only team - aside from the Titans, who own the pick - with odds shorter than 10/1 to pick first overall, a few teams are between 10/1 and 50/1 to trade up.

The Jets have the third-shortest odds (+1100) to pick first in the draft. As mentioned, Rodgers failed to turn the team around, and the new regime of head coach Aaron Glenn and GM Darren Mougey have decided to go in a different direction under center.

The Cleveland Browns have the second-lowest amount of cap space this offseason with the albatross that is QB Deshaun Watson's contract on their books, and with Watson set to miss the 2025 season after re-tearing his Achilles, the Browns will be desperate for a new face under center. They're +1600 to trade up, and the only realistic way they can find a new starting-quality QB is through the draft thanks to the cap situation.

The Las Vegas Raiders, coming off a season with a carousel at QB, have a new head coach in Pete Carroll who will want stability at the most important position in sports. Vegas is +1800 to trade up to No. 1, but Carroll may push for a reunion with free agent QB Russell Wilson, who won a title with Carroll in Seattle.

The last team with odds shorter than 100/1 to trade up is the Dallas Cowboys (+50000), who said they would be 'selectively aggressive' this offseason. Owner/GM Jerry Jones has just over $1 million in cap space to work with, but he has been vocal about wanting to extend the contract of superstar LB/EDGE Micah Parsons before he hits free agency in 2026.
