The Denver Broncos haven't lost a game since September 21st in what has become a historic season for the franchise. The team from the Mile High City is 12-2, the only team in the NFL to have that many wins through 14 weeks.
A new nickname, the "Orange Rush," has been tagged to this team that has won 11 in a row and 12 straight at home. Much of the success can be attributed to the pass-rush that has 58 sacks to top the NFL by a wide margin.
It's an aggressive style of defense implemented by defensive coordinator Vance Joseph in which heavy blitz packages and man coverage is the identity of the unit.
With Nik Bonitto, Jonathon Cooper, Zach Allen and more hounding the quarterback, while Patrick Surtain II, Riley Moss, Ja'Quan McMillian, and Jahdae Barron lock up receivers on the back-end, it is extremely difficult to move the ball against them.
The offense has slowly, but surely, come around throughout the season and peaked last week when it scored 34 points against an elite Green Bay Packers defense. Head coach Sean Payton and quarterback Bo Nix are now completely in sync, and Nix put together his game of the season throwing for 302 yards and four touchdowns.
Combine both units, plus some late game magic sprinkled throughout, and the Broncos have their best record through 14 games since the 1998 team that won the Super Bowl. Here's a look at the best seasons for the Broncos and their record through 14 games:
