What is the get-in price for the NCAA Tournament semifinal and championship?

The final rounds of the NCAA Tournament happen this weekend, and plenty of fans will be interested in buying a ticket.

Four massive college programs, Michigan, Arizona, UConn, and Illinois will battle for the 2025/26 college basketball season title.

Illinois finished as the runners-up in 2005 with Deron Williams leading the squad, but they have yet to win it all. Michigan is looking for its first championship win since 1989, Arizona hasn't won since 1997, and UConn, on the other hand, is looking to win its third championship in the last four years under Dan Hurley.

The two No. 1 seeds, Michigan and Arizona, will match up against one another, while No. 2 UConn will play No. 3 Illinois.

The two No. 1 seeds have been the most dominant teams throughout the season, setting up a terrific collision course matchup. The Big Ten Player of the Year, Yaxel Lendeborg will square off against the Big 12 Player of the Year, Jaden Bradley and co.

UConn's miracle last-second steal and shot by Braylon Mullins to beat Duke in the Round of 8 will be remembered forever, and they'll look to take advantage of it by reaching the championship game.

They'll have to go through No. 3 Illinois who can shoot the lights out and don't turn the ball over. Their defense has also been spectacular in the tourney, allowing less than 60 points in each of their last three games.

Each of these universities carry a massive fanbase, creating a high demand for these prestigious tickets. The semifinal and championship rounds will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN, where the capacity is 70,000 - much larger than typical basketball venues.

How much is a get-in ticket to the NCAA Tournament semifinal?

According to Gametime, the cheapest ticket for the semifinal session (gives you access to both games) is $451. When factoring in flights, food, and a hotel room, the average fan will spend over $1,000 to attend the semifinal.

There is also an option to get tickets to both the semifinal games plus the championship game in one package. The cheapest price for that package is $676.

If you want to book just a championship ticket right now, before the teams are determined, the cheapest ticket is $198.

It'll be a terrific display of high level hoops, but it'll cost you quite a bit to attend these awesome games.
