USA vs. Mexico: How to watch, TV channel, streaming, start time

The 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup final is set: USA vs. Mexico.

The top two teams in North America will meet in the final for the third time in the last four Gold Cups. Overall, Mexico is the winningest nation in Gold Cup history with nine titles, with the United States close behind with seven.

Sunday's match will mark the eighth overall meeting between the USA and Mexico in the Gold Cup final. In the previous seven, the Americans won two of those meetings, including most recently in 2021, to Mexico's five.

But history can be forgotten on Sunday as the U.S. comes in with a fresh lease under Mauricio Pochettino, who has successfully guided the USMNT to the final in his first major tournament with the team. Winger Diego Luna (3 goals, 2 assists) and attacking midfielder Malik Tillman (3 goals, 2 assists) have been crucial for the U.S. this tournament. Luna has scored three of the team's four total goals in knockout stage wins over Costa Rica and Guatemala.

Mexico has not conceded a goal since its group stage opener against the Dominican Republic and defeated Saudi Arabia 2-0 and Honduras 1-0 to reach the Gold Cup final. Raul Jimenez's 50th-minute strike was the difference in the semifinal win over Honduras on Wednesday night.

The last meeting between these international rivals came in a friendly, won by Mexico 2-0 on October 15, 2024.
