There could be some huge moves in the NBA this offseason and with free agency now underway, some deals are starting to happen.
Free agency officially began on 30th June but players weren't allowed to sign contacts until 6th July.
As such, some of the deals are yet to be officially confirmed and the biggest deals so far are largely star players agreeing to stay with their current teams.
Denver Nuggets tie down Jokic
Nikola Jokic has won the MVP award in each of the last two seasons and Denver Nuggets have moved to tie the Serbian star down to a new long-term deal.
The contract is yet to be officially announced but Jokic's agents, Jeff Schwartz and Mike Lindeman of Excel Sports, have told reporters he has agreed a five-year, $270 million super-max extension - making it the richest deal in NBA history.
Denver are +2000 to win the NBA Championship next season.
Williamson extends Pelicans deal
Zion Williamson has signed a five-year $193-million maximum rookie extension with the New Orleans Pelicans in a huge move for the franchise.
The former No. 1 draft pick has struggled with injuries since being drafted by New Orleans and has played just 85 games over the last three seasons, missing the entirety of last term with a fractured foot.
There had been speculation the Duke product could attempt to engineer a move this summer, but that proved to be unfounded and he has now signed a new deal.
The Pelicans managed to reach the playoffs last season despite Williamson's absence, and will be hoping they can push on and become genuine challengers in the Western Conference now he is available again
LaVine commits to Bulls
Zach LaVine has emerged as a real talent at Chicago Bulls in recent years and earned his second successive All-Star selection earlier this year.
The guard was due to become an unrestricted free agent this summer and LaVine had indicated he intended to explore the market.
If he did have a look around, it wasn't a particularly long one as less than 24 hours after the NBA's free-agent negotiation window had opened LaVine announced he had decided to stay with Chicago.
LaVine's decision to sign a five-year max contract extension has ended the biggest issue Chicago had to resolve with their roster this summer.
The team reached the playoffs for the first time in five years last season and could be contenders in the Eastern Conference if they enjoy a bit more luck on the fitness front, having sustained a number of injuries to key men in the latter stages of last season.
Wall makes Clippers switch
There are a few moves that have caught the eye and John Wall's move from Houston Rockets to Los Angeles Clippers is an interesting one.
The guard froze himself out at Houston last season due to a dispute on how he would be used by the team, but has now made the switch to the Clippers on a two-year deal rather than sit out the final year of his contract with the Rockets.
The Clippers are +600 to win the NBA Championship next season.
Beal sticks with Wizards
Bradley Beal has spent his entire career with Washington Wizards and he has signed on for another five years in the capital.
Beal is a three-time All-Star and could have become a free agent this summer, but made returned to Washington on a huge $251million max contract.
Sixers swoop for Tucker
Philadelphia 76ers have added veteran forward P.J. Tucker to their ranks on a three-year deal.
Tucker spent last season with Miami Heat, helping them claim top seed in the East and each the conference finals, and he adds valuable experience to the Sixers roster.
DiVencenzo joins Dubs rotation
Golden State Warriors have signed former Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings guard Donte DiVencenzo on a two-year deal.
This was perhaps a surprise move given the quality the Dubs have at backcourt, and DiVincenzo will probably provide cover from the bench rather than challenge for a starting role.
