The United States Men’s National Team takes on Panama for a spot in the CONCACAF Nations League final this Thursday night.
It’s been more than four months since the USMNT fielded its first-choice team in a competitive match. That came back on November 18, 2024, when the Americans defeated Jamaica 4-2 to advance to the Nations League semifinals.
Several Americans have found form in recent months playing for their club teams in Europe, including Christian Pulisic, Antonee Robinson and Tyler Adams, and Thursday will serve as a checkpoint for Mauricio Pochettino’s team now 15 months away from hosting the 2026 World Cup.
