The United States Women's Basketball team begins the quest to retain its Olympic gold medal against the silver medalists at the last Games, Japan.
In its first pre-Olympics tune-up game, Team USA fell to the WNBA All-Stars in the WNBA All-Star Game, but bounced back with a win over Germany by a score of 84-57.
Led by A'ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart, each a two-time WNBA MVP, Team USA has arguably its deepest roster ever at these Olympics.
United States vs. Japan in women's basketball will be broadcast on USA Network, which can be viewed through cable TV and live TV streaming apps such as YouTubeTV and FuboTV. The game will also be available to stream on Peacock.
United States vs. Japan is scheduled to start at 2:45 PM ET/11:45 AM PT on Monday, July 29 with the game taking place at Pierre Mauroy Stadium in Lille, France.
