Surging contender Quillan Salkilld faces his biggest challenge to date as he faces experienced veteran Mateusz Gamrot at UFC Fight Night.

Salkilld is 5-0 in the UFC with three KO/TKO wins and one submission victory to his name.
The 26-year-old has ended four of his fights inside the Octagon in the first round, with wins over Beneil Dariush (KO/TKO), Jamie Mullarkey (Sub), Nasrat Haqparast (KO/TKO) and Yanal Ashmouz (KO/TKO).
The victory over another veteran in Dariush in May cemented his status as a legit contender, landing a right hook to ground strikes finish.
Gamrot brings a 9-4 UFC record having been a staple of the top ten for some time.
The Polish fighter has found life more difficult of late, with a 3-2 record since the start of 2024, including losses to Charles Oliveira (Sub) and Dan Hooker (SD).
The 35-year-old brings a chain wrestling style and likes to move opponents around on the ground as he looks to frustrate or find a finish.
Gamrot arrives here on the back of a second-round submission victory over Esteban Ribovics in April, however, Salkilld has a much more capable ground game than the Argentinian.

This is Salkilld's first five-round booking in the UFC, while Gamrot has only been scheduled for 25 minute contests twice - defeating Arman Tsarukyan over the distance, as well as being submitted by Oliveira.
