UConn Women 2025 Big East Tournament Schedule, Dates, How to Watch

The University of Connecticut women’s basketball team enters the 2025 Big East Tournament as the No. 1 seed in the conference.

The Huskies went a perfect 18-0 in Big East play in 2024/25, winning all 18 games by double-digits, with their closest game coming against Creighton, a 72-61 victory on January 25.

Since returning to the Big East ahead of the 2020/21 season, UConn has won all four regular season and conference championships, and is favored to do so for a fifth-straight time in 2025.

A fifth consecutive Big East title could help UConn clinch a 1-seed in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2020/21. Geno Auriemma’s team has not won a national championship since 2015/16, when they won a fourth title in a row.

How to watch UConn Women 2025 Big East Tournament games, TV channel and streaming

UConn's quarterfinal game in the 2025 Big East Tournament will be shown on Fox Sports 1.

If UConn advances, their semifinal game will be shown on FOX, and the Big East Tournament final will be shown on Fox Sports 1.

All FOX network are available via cable TV and live TV streaming apps such as YouTube TV.

UConn Women 2025 Big East Tournament opponents

UConn will face the winner of No. 9 Butler and No. 8 St. John's in the Big East Tournament quarterfinals on Saturday, March 8.

The Huskies defeated Butler twice this season by an average of 40.5 points per game. UConn's 101-59 win over Butler on Feb. 2 was tied for the team's highest-scoring game of the season.

St. John's also fell twice to the Huskies this season, 71-45 on Jan. 15 and 78-40 on Feb. 12.

If UConn wins its quarterfinal game, it will face the winner of No. 5 Villanova and No. 4 Marquette.

The Huskies are a combined 4-0 against these two teams this season, scoring 88 PPG and allowing 52.8 PPG in across those games.

UConn is expected to go up against either No. 2 Creighton or No. 3 Seton Hall in the conference tournament final on Monday, March 10.

Creighton, the only other Big East team to be ranked inside the top-25 this season, has played UConn closer than any other conference opponent this season. Still, the Huskies are 2-0 against the Bluejays, most recently winning 72-53 on Feb. 27.

UConn also trounced Seton Hall twice this season, a 96-36 win on Jan. 19 before a 91-49 win on Feb. 19.
