The No. 7 UConn Huskies (14-2, 5-0 Big East) have been rolling in conference play, but they will be without star player Paige Bueckers when visiting the Georgetown Hoyas (8-7, 1-3 Big East) on Saturday afternoon.
UConn has gotten off to a 5-0 start in the Big East, having already beaten Georgetown in Connecticut by a 79-44 score, and they've also taken down Providence, Marquette and Villanova. The Huskies' two losses were against fellow National Championship contenders Notre Dame and USC.
Georgetown has a decent record, but their only game against a ranked team was a blowout loss to UConn. Their lone Big East win was a 64-41 win over a Xavier team that scored just 27 points against the Huskies this week.
UConn vs. Georgetown will be broadcast on SNY, a local broadcast network in the greater New York and Connecticut markets. It can be viewed through cable TV or streamed via live TV streaming apps such as YouTubeTV by fans located in that area.
Fans outside the Connecticut market can view the game on UConn Sports Network, which can be accessed via the team website.
UConn vs. Georgetown is scheduled to tip off at 4 PM ET/3 PM CT on Saturday, January 11th from Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, DC.
