The North Carolina Tar Heels are 6-5, unranked and in desperate need of a win, but they face yet another challenge in the form of the No. 18 UCLA Bruins at Madison Square Garden.
The Tar Heels are coming off a 90-84 loss to the No. 9 Florida Gators for the third loss in the team's last five games. Their only wins in that span were a three-point win over Georgia Tech and a 93-67 blowout over La Salle.
UCLA, meanwhile, is 10-1 under head coach Mick Cronin, has the best defensive rating in Division I Men's Basketball, and picked up a win over then-No. 12 Oregon recently.
