Penn State versatile tight end Tyler Warren finished seventh in Heisman Trophy voting and was a key piece of the Nittany Lions' offense as the team went 12-2 to earn a Big Ten Championship appearance and the first College Football Playoff berth in program history.
After blowing out SMU 38-10 in the first round, Warren and the Nittany Lions will take on the Mountain West Conference champion Boise State Broncos (12-1), led by Heisman Trophy second-place finisher RB Ashton Jeanty.
Warren is projected to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and he showed his ability to impact games in a multitude of ways all throughout the season.
In 14 games so far this season, Warren has caught 92 passes for 1,095 yards and six TDs, and he has rushed 24 times for 197 yards and four TDs. He has averaged 11.1 yards per touch this season.
Plus, the 6-foot-6, 250-pound pass catcher has had one 200-yard game (224 yards and a TD from 17 receptions at USC) and three more games with at least 100 receiving yards.
