Amanda Turnbull is determined to try and upheld the family tradition by winning the Miracle Mile with Bundoran this weekend.
The Turnbull clan have already claimed the honours in the Miracle Mile through Tony Turnbull (1974) and Steve Turnbull in 2001 and now the latter's daughter hopes to add her own name to the roll of honour, with Bundoran having earned a place in the $1million event.
And Amanda Turnbull could not be in a better mood ahead of the bid for glory, with Bundoran having run on strongly to finish second in the Allied Express Sprint behind the highly-regarded King Of Swing.

She told Australian Harness Racing: "He has done a wonderful job for us and contested some big races this time in.
"It was such a thrill to win a heat and qualify for the Inter Dominion Grand Final with him. Since then, he has just kept stepping up to the mark. What he did last Saturday night was incredible.
"He was spotting the leaders a tidy start with 400 metres to run but he was travelling strongly for me.
"He has a great turn of foot when driven quietly off high speed and I felt confident that he was going to get close to them."
Bundoran has been drawn at barrier four for the showpiece race on Saturday and is again expected to settle in behind the pace-setters and stay on strongly towards the end.
