Colorado Buffaloes star CB/WR Travis Hunter is the second-favorite to win the 2024 Heisman Trophy, and he has a chance to further make his case this weekend against Texas Tech.
The Buffs are 6-2 and are ranked in the top 25 of the AP Poll for the second straight week. Hunter has been a huge part of their success, as he leads the team in receptions, receiving yards, TDs and passes defended. And, his two interceptions are tied for the team lead.
As a result of his impact on both sides of the ball, Hunter enters Week 11 as the +200 second-favorite to win the Heisman.
The matchup against Texas Tech (6-3) is a favorable one for Hunter, at least on offense. The Red Raiders allow the second-most yards per game (307.2) out of 134 Division I teams this season, and while they beat then-No. 11 Iowa State last week, they have allowed 40 points in three games this season.
With Shedeur Sanders throwing him the ball and Hunter having had big games against better pass defenses including those of Arizona, Baylor and Kansas State, it seems the two-way star is in line for a big day.
Before Saturday's Big 12 showdown, let's take a look at Heisman contender Hunter's player props, odds and lines.
