Travelers Championship: Winner’s Payout, Prize Money, Purse Breakdown

One the eight Signature Events on the PGA Tour, the Travelers Championship carries one of the biggest purses in professional golf.

The PGA Tour introduced signature events in 2024 to encourage participation and excitement around the non-major tournaments, notably increasing the purse and payouts enough to catch the attention of multi-millionaire professional golfers.

In 2025, the draw of the Travelers is strong enough to get the biggest PGA Tour stars, including Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and even U.S. Open winner J.J. Spaun, to migrate to Connecticut just a few days after what was one of the most tedious tournaments of their careers at the U.S. Open at Oakmont.

Continue reading below for a complete breakdown of the purse and payouts by finishing position at the Travelers Championship.

How much does the winner of the Travelers Championship get?

The winner of the 2025 Travelers Championship takes home $3.6 million.

Do players that miss the cut at the Travelers Championship get paid?

Unlike most PGA Tour events and majors, there is no cut at the Travelers Championship due to its status as a Signature Event, therefore all 72 players in the field are paid.

The Travelers is one of five Signature Events (The Sentry, Pebble Beach Pro-Am, RBC Heritage, Truist Championship) to have no cut line.
