Cal State Fullerton guard Damari Milstead believes his team can make a huge statement on Friday by seeing off Duke in the first round of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament.
Cal State are 15/1 to win in the Money Line, while Duke can be backed at 10/11 with a -18.5 handicap in the Point Spread.
Duke are one of the most successful teams in the NCAA and have won the championship on five occasions, with their last title coming in 2015.
Coach Mike Krzyzewski has won all of those titles for Duke and the 75-year has confirmed this season will be his final year in charge of the Blue Devils.
Cal State are the 62nd overall seed in the tournament and Duke are the eighth, with many feeling they have a real chance to go all the way this year as they look to send Krzyzewski into retirement with a sixth championship to his name.
Anything other than a convincing win for Duke on Friday would be considered a surprise but Titans guard Milstead insists his team are capable of pulling off an upset.
"I think some things that we can exploit, just our maturity," said Milstead, as reported by the New York Post. "Duke is a super, super talented group, but they're inexperienced.
"I think our maturity and poise and just our togetherness as a program and how long we've been together are some things we can really exploit."
