Forward Robert Thomas has hailed the chemistry of the play-off-bound St. Louis Blues, who have now won eight NHL games in a row.
The Blues 18/1 to win the Stanley Cup, clinched their place in the post-season with a 6-5 overtime victory against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday.
The win improved their record to 45-20-10, which equates to 100 points and second place in the Central Division.
Twenty-two-year-old Thomas is on a 12-game point-streak (six goals, 17 assists) which is the second-longest currently in the NHL behind Florida's Jonathan Huberdeau.
Proving to be one of the most creative players in the NHL, Thomas has recorded 53 assists, the most for his age in the league. He is also the first Blue since Doug Weight in 2003/04 (33 years old at the time) to reach 50 assists in a season.
Thomas, a first-round (20th overall) pick of St. Louis in 2017 also has 18 goals for a total of 71 points which ranks second on the Blues.
