The 2025 Masters Tournament is finally here, as golf's biggest names get set take on Augusta National Golf Club for a shot at the sport's most famed individual prize - the Green Jacket.
Ahead of Thursday's opening round, we take a look at the most-backed golfers among bet365 U.S. customers to win the major tournament.

Xander Schauffele | 2.19% |
Justin Thomas | 2.13% |
Min Woo Lee | 2.06% |

Rory McIlroy, seeking his first major championship since 2014 and a career grand slam, is by far the best-backed golfer to win The Masters by U.S.-based bet365 customers with 22.69% of all outright bets.
With a win, McIlroy would become the sixth golfer to complete the career grand slam, joining Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.
In a distant second is fan-favorite and 2024 U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau claiming 3.06% of outright bets. The LIV golfer won his second career major last June, helped greatly by McIlroy’s untimely missed putts late in the final round.
DeChambeau finished T6 at the 2024 Masters, by far his best finish at Augusta after missing the cut in back-to-back years.
Two-time major champion Collin Morikawa will look to silence doubters with a competitive showing at Augusta this week, and is the third-most backed player to win by bet365 customers based in the U.S.
Morikawa played alongside Scheffler in the final pairing on Sunday a year ago, ultimately finishing T3, a career best at The Masters. He has finished in the top-10 in each of his last three Masters appearances.
Scottish golfer Robert MacIntyre is well-backed by U.S. customers (2.81%) to win his first career major championship. The 28-year-old won two PGA Tour events in 2024 and has finished T12 and T23 in two career showings at Augusta.
Rounding out the top-five is Sepp Straka, another player yet to win a major, with his best finish at The Masters a T16 in 2024. The Austrian has shown his stuff on the big stage at other tournaments, notably finishing T2 at the 2023 Open Championship.
Applies to bets from 3:30 PM ET on April 7 to 9:15 AM ET on April 8.
