Kyle Larson is attempting to become the second driver in history to complete The Double.
The Double, which is also known as Double Duty, the Indy-Charlotte Double, or the Memorial Day Double, is when a driver competes in both the Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600 on the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend.
Larson attempted this feat for the first time in 2024, but rain in Charlotte ruined his plans of completing the Coca-Cola 600. He finished 18th in Indy after starting fifth on the grid.
Here, we have the odds for Larson to win both races on Sunday, May 25th.
Indianapolis 500 | +1600 |
Coca-Cola 600 | +550 |
Kyle Larson is the +550 outright favorite heading into NASCAR's Coca Cola 600, and he has the ninth-shortest odds to win in Indianapolis.
Larson will start on the fifth row in Charlotte after qualifying 10th, and he's on the seventh row in Indy after finishing 18th in qualifying. That means he'll have plenty of places to make up in order to win either race.
If he can just finish each race, he'll join Tony Stewart as the only drivers to complete both events on the same day. Stewart did it back in 2001, driving 1,100 miles combined in the two races.
