Texas vs. Oklahoma: How to watch, TV channel, streaming, start time and stats
Rusty Gorelick
The first Red River Rivalry in the SEC is coming up this weekend, as the No. 1 Texas Longhorns take on the No. 18 Oklahoma Sooners.
Both Texas and Oklahoma joined the SEC before this season. The Longhorns are 5-0 including a win over then-No. 10 Michigan, while Oklahoma is 4-1 with the one loss coming against then-No. 6 Tennessee.
The two teams have each dealt with issues at quarterback. Texas starting QB Quinn Ewers suffered an oblique injury which saw Arch Manning take over, but there's a good chance Ewers returns for this game. Sooners QB Jackson Arnold struggled against Tennessee and was replaced by freshman Michael Hawkins, who also started last week against Auburn.
This game will be played at a neutral site, the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas, which seats upwards of 90,000 fans.
