A pair of SEC teams face off in the Sweet 16 as the Tennessee Volunteers meet the Kentucky Wildcats.
Kentucky won the lone regular-season meeting between these teams by a 78-73 score in late January. All five Kentucky starters reached double figures in scoring, while Igor Milicic Jr. led the Vols with 19 points and nine rebounds on 4/8 three-point shooting.
The Wildcats do not force many turnovers, but they are a top-30 team in three-point percentage. The Vols have found success with their defense-first mentality, as opponents have shot just 38.2 percent (lowest in the nation) against them on average this season.
Tennessee vs. Kentucky will be broadcast on TBS and TruTV, available via cable TV and live TV streaming apps such as YouTubeTV and SlingTV.
Streaming is also available via the March Madness Live app.
Tennessee vs. Kentucky is scheduled to tip off at 7:39 PM ET/6:39 PM CT/4:39 PM PT on Friday, March 28th from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
