TCU vs. Stanford: How to watch, TV channel, streaming, start time and stats

It's a battle of Power Four conference teams in Week 1 of the 2024 College Football season as the Big 12's TCU takes on ACC newcomers Stanford.

The TCU Horned Frogs reached the College Football Playoff Championship at the end of the 2022 season but lost to Georgia in a blowout. They followed that up by losing to Colorado in Deion Sanders' first game there last season before finishing 2023 at 5-7.

The Stanford Cardinal have been far less successful but much more consistent, going 3-9 in each of the past three seasons. They ditched the Pac-12 for the ACC, joining this offseason alongside California and SMU.

• Horned Frogs RB Trey Sanders returns after carrying the ball 48 times for 176 yards and six TDs in 2023.
• Namdi Obiazor returns to TCU for 2024 after leading the team with 4.0 sacks in 2023.
• Bud Clark returns to TCU after leading the team with three interceptions in 2023.
