It’s been two wins from two for Team USA in the 4 Nations Face-Off, and the Americans have clinched a spot in Thursday’s championship game.
But first, the United States will face Sweden on home ice in their final round robin game on Monday night.
Team USA earned a spot in Thursday’s final through a 3-1 win over Canada on Saturday. The game began with three fights in nine seconds before a two goals from Jake Guentzel and one from Dylan Larkin powered the U.S. to victory in Montreal.
Sweden fell to rivals Finland in overtime on Saturday, their second OT loss in two 4 Nations Face-Off games, having done so against Canada in their tournament opener.
