Mexico and Suriname continue their CONCACAF Gold Cup campaigns on Wednesday night in Texas.
Matchday two in Group A pits the reigning Gold Cup champions Mexico against Suriname.
El Tri outlasted the Dominican Republic in their Group A opener 3-2 on Saturday, using goals from Edson Alvarez, Raul Jimenez and Cesar Montes to get past the 139th ranked international team in the world.
Suriname’s Gold Cup opener featured seven goals, a 4-3 defeat to Costa Rica, who the Mexicans will likely be battling against for top spot in Group A.
But Stanley Menzo’s Suriname side won’t go down easy, and didn’t against Costa Rica when they came back from 2-0 down only to concede the game-winning penalty in the 13th minute of second half stoppage time.
Suriname vs. Mexico will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1. Streaming will be available on fubo TV (subscription required) and FOX Sports (TV provider login required).
A Spanish-language broadcast will be available on TUDN and Vix Premium Deportes 2.
Suriname vs. Mexico will kick off at 10 PM ET / 9 PM CT / 7 PM PT on Wednesday, June 18 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the home stadium of the Dallas Cowboys.
