There is only one group left to be settled at this year's League of Legends World Championship with the knockout stage creeping over the horizon.
In Group A, it was T1 and Edward Gaming who came out on top, while in Group B, JD Gaming and DWG KIA both progressed, having turned on the style with 5-1 win-loss records.
As for Group C, one of the more competitive sections, DRX finished top and were followed by Rogue, who became the first team outside of Asia to make the knockout stage.
Group D was considered the least competitive at the start of the tournament but there is still plenty to play for as the teams in the group each play their remaining three matches.

North Americans 100 Thieves knew they would have a mountain to climb in Group D when they lost their opener to CTBC Flying Oyster but they can give themselves a shot at stabilising their campaign with victory when the teams reconvene.

Anyone who follows League of Legends will know these are the two underdogs in this group with Royal Never Give Up and Gen.G expected to sail through into the knockout phase.
But that lack of expectation could work in their favour. 100 Thieves have lost all three of their matches, while Flying Oyster have picked up the one win (against the Thieves), so there is not much between the sides and the Thieves could be worth siding with this time around.
The NA region is stronger than Flying Oyster's PCS region for starters and the Thieves enjoyed a great LCS Summer campaign, making it all the way to the final.
They are an experienced outfit and, given how desperately they need to put points on the board, they could be worth a bet at -150 to win this one.

A potential victory over Flying Oyster could be in vain for 100 Thieves, who must then turn their attention to a clash with the group's early pacesetters Royal Never Give Up.
LPL giants Royal Never Give Up have started Group D with a 3-0 win-loss record, having shown a superb grasp on the meta from the start.
They quite frankly look unstoppable right now and have great international experience behind them, having won this year's Mid-Season Invitational.
They will be worth keeping an eye on in the outright market going forwards and a comprehensive win looks to be on the cards against the Thieves, so RNGU could be worth a bet at -10.5 on the kill handicap at -120.

The final match in Group D has plenty of potential as the section's standout side Royal Never Give Up lock horns with a Gen.G team who many had down as favourites to win Worlds coming into the tournament.
Their opening meeting went the way of Royal Never Give Up, who won the kill count 14-5, but Gen.G will be eager to prove a point when they reconvene.
The LCK side have perhaps not adjusted to the Worlds meta as effectively as Royal Never Give Up but they nonetheless won 17 of their 18 matches in the LCK Summer Split and their jungler Han "Peanut" Wang-ho is in the form of his life.
Both teams deserve respect going into this contest and rather than siding with one of the League of Legends giants, a bet on over 24.5 kills could be the way to go at -120.
