A newly revamped SheBelieves Cup makes its return this week and first up is a crunch semifinal clash between hosts USA Women and strong contenders Japan Women.
Whereas previous years have seen the SheBelieves Cup operate with a group format, this year the four teams involved play two semifinals before progressing to a final and a third-place game.
The USA are defending champions and have their sights set on a record seventh title.
Japan Women can always be a tough nut to crack but they were underwhelming in their Women's Olympics qualifier against Korea DPR earlier this year, edging them 2-1 across two legs.
And the SheBelieves Cup is a tournament the USA know plenty about, so bettors should expect a routine win for the Stars and Stripes.
USA Women already have a title to their name in 2024, having won the Concacaf W Gold Cup only last month with a 1-0 victory over Brazil in the final.
They also edged Canada in the semi-finals en route and they are worth a wager to win the first half and the game at +175.
USA Women have one of the strongest squads in the world at their disposal and they are further improved by the return of top forward Catarina Macario from injury.
Japan, meanwhile, are lacking in the midfield area with Jun Endo out after a season-ending knee injury sustained in February and this could actually be a pretty one-sided affair, especially given the USA will have home advantage in Atlanta, Georgia.
Both of these teams like to operate on the front foot and that points to goals at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
USA Women scored 15 goals during their Concacaf W Gold Cup title-winning campaign and that run featured a 5-0 win over Dominican Republic and a 4-0 success against Argentina.
Japan are a cut above those sides but could nonetheless struggle to keep tabs on the USA offense.
Bettors will be familiar with star forwards such as Alex Morgan and Sophia Smith but they can also call on Concacaf W Gold Cup MVP Jaedyn Shaw and Lyon midfield ace Lindsey Horan, who netted three times herself at the Gold Cup, for goals.
Throw in the return of Macario, who has already got off the mark since coming back for club side Chelsea, and this is sure to be a game featuring plenty of goals.
Of those mentioned above, Horan looks one of the best bets to score in Atlanta at +275.
Horan bagged three goals at the recent Concacaf W Gold Cup, including the winner against Brazil in the final.
That shows that she can impress on the biggest of stages and she has also scored six goals in the French top flight for Lyon Women this season, so should be ready to make her mark.
