Mauricio Pochettino's United States side have home advantage and a one-goal start as they get set to face Jamaica in St. Louis for a place in the CONCACAF Nations League semifinals.
These sides met in Kingston four days ago, with the US taking the win via Ricardo Pepi's goal after just five minutes.
The Reggae Boyz missed a penalty and were reduced to 10 men late in the contest. They must try and turn things around but the home side are favorites to get another success.
Jamaica have struggled for goals recently and that may prove their undoing in St. Louis. The Reggae Boyz have only found the net in three of their last eight games, a sequence that included defeats to Mexico and Venezuela and goalless draws with Cuba and Honduras.
They had a gilt-edged chance to score in the first leg when US goalkeeper Matt Turner gifted them a penalty but Demarai Gray was then foiled by the Crystal Palace netminder.
Jamaica only managed one other shot on target in that contest, which must rank as a worry.
Pochettino, meanwhile, will have been delighted to grab an advantage after his first competitive game as manager of the USMNT.
The Stars and Stripes are bidding for a fourth successive Nations League title – they have not yet surrendered this crown – and they are taken to edge out Jamaica again in what could be a fiery but ultimately low-scoring affair.
Christian Pulisic to score first (+350)
Playmaker Christian Pulisic collected his 75th cap for the USMNT in the first leg and he teed-up Pepi for the only goal in Kingston.
Pulisic is flying with AC Milan this season, scoring seven goals in 15 outings. He is also the go-to man for the US national side, with three goals and the same amount of assists in 2024 in his nine games.
He is the USMNT's standout operator and his goal against New Zealand in September came amid a run of six in five games for club and country.
The first leg means he is now five without a goal for Milan or his country, but the 26-year-old could be the man to open up Jamaica and get that all-important opener.
Pochettino can recall Timothy Weah from suspension and the Juventus forward should return to the starting XI.
Weah has netted three times in his last five starts for the Turin outfit, with goals against Inter Milan, Parma and Torino.
He is having a productive Serie A season and is no stranger to unleashing a shot from distance if the chance presents. Jamaica are likely to sit deep in this tussle and a long range strike appeals.
