Real Betis vs. Chelsea: Picks, Predictions, Odds and Player Props

Having been strong favorites for the trophy before a ball had even been kicked this season, it comes as little surprise to see that Chelsea will take part in Wednesday's Conference League final against Real Betis at the Wroclaw Stadium.

The Blues have spent well over $1.3 billion in recent years and, as a result, have an extremely deep squad, meaning a third-tier European competition was always going be well within their reach.

Should Enzo Maresca's side prevail in Poland, they will become the first side in history to win all three of UEFA's primary competitions.

Spanish battlers Real Betis are the side tasked with stopping the Blues from making history and there is reason to believe Manuel Pellegrini's plucky outfit could do just that.

Real Betis vs. Chelsea betting picks and predictions

Real Betis or Tie double chance (-110)

Momentum is with Chelsea following their 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday, a result which secured their spot in next season's UEFA Champions League, but they had to work hard for that result and another similarly gritty side could frustrate them on Wednesday.

Real Betis finished sixth in La Liga but possibly could have ended even higher given their exceptional record against the sides above them.

Pellegrini's men lost just two of their 10 matches against the division's top five teams - one of those came at Atletico Madrid on the penultimate weekend when the Chilean opted to rest a few key players - and registered wins over Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

That means they will fear nothing ahead of Wednesday's final, and the added rest they've enjoyed over the final two weeks, having secured sixth a while back, further tips the balance in their favor, with Chelsea, in contrast, having to battle until the final minute at the City Ground.

Betis are tough opponents, losing just two of their last 20 matches in all competitions, although four of their last five outings have finished level, so side with them in the double-chance market.

It could be tempting to back them to lift the trophy, but there is every chance Chelsea's immense depth comes to the fore in extra time - if we get there - so stick with the 90-minute markets.

Antony to score or assist (+200)

One of the stories of the season has been Antony's career revival in Spain. After scoring just 12 goals and providing five assists in 96 games for Manchester United, the Brazilian has almost matched that tally in 25 matches for Betis, netting nine times and setting up his teammates on five occasions.

He joins a long list of players to thrive once they leave Old Trafford, see new Serie A MVP Scott McTominay, and he and Betis will be hoping his loan is made permanent.

The tricky winger has been instrumental in Los Verdiblancos' run to the Conference League final, too, netting four goals and providing three assists in his eight European appearances.

Antony was on target in both legs of Betis' semi-final victory over Fiorentina, also registering an assist in the second match of that tie, and could have a big impact on Wroclaw.

Romain Perraud to be booked (+240)

Chelsea will no doubt look to Cole Palmer for inspiration if things aren't going their way on Wednesday and their star man should see plenty of the ball at the Wroclaw Stadium.

Palmer often drifts to the right flank, where he combines well with Noni Madueke, Reece James and Moises Caicedo, and Betis's left-back, Romain Perraud, could be kept busy as a result.

The former Southampton full-back picked up eight yellow cards in 28 La Liga games this term and has also been cautioned twice in the Conference League, making him a standout card selection in Wednesday's final.
