The Euros quarterfinals will reach a conclusion on Saturday when the Netherlands take on Turkey at Berlin's iconic Olympiastadion and it is a contest that should provide plenty of entertainment.
It has taken the Netherlands a while to grow into this tournament, but after only limping into the knockout stages as one of the best third-place sides, they seemingly got into their groove when seeing off Romania 3-0 in the round of 16.
Turkey also enjoyed an eye-catching win to set up this clash, claiming a 2-1 success against an Austria side that were being talked up as dark horses to go all the way.
That should mean both sides are full of confidence heading into this clash in the German capital, with the winner set to face either England or Switzerland in the semifinals.
Finishing third in their group had not been the plan for the Netherlands, but it may have worked in their favor after they landed in the perceived easier side of the draw.
Ronald Koeman's side certainly benefited from facing an out-of-sorts Romania in the last 16 and the dominant nature of that 3-0 victory should have shaken off any lingering group-stage cobwebs.
The Dutch had won six of their seven matches prior to this tournament and their games usually provide plenty of entertainment, with eight of their last nine seeing at least three goals scored - the vast majority for the Oranje.
Turkey's games also tend to provide entertainment, with three or more goals being scored in all of their matches at this tournament. They have been roared on by a large fanbase in Germany.
However, they were pushed all the way by Austria in the round of 16 and will be missing three key players for this quarterfinal due to suspension, with midfielders Orkun Kokcu and Ismail Yuksek being joined on the sidelines by the two-goal hero in that match, Merih Demiral.
That will no doubt weaken Vincenzo Montella's options, even with the return of captain Hakan Calhanoglu from his own ban, and Turkey may come up short as a result.
This certainly appears to be the Netherlands' match for the taking and it is one that could feature plenty of goals.
The two most recent meetings between these two sides - in qualifying for the 2022 World Cup - yielded a combined 13 goals, with Turkey triumphing 4-2 on home soil in March 2021 before the Dutch ran out 6-1 winners in Amsterdam later that same year.
Koeman is able to call upon plenty of attacking talent within his squad, but his standout performer has been Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, who started the quarterfinal action as the joint-leading scorer at the tournament with three goals.
The 25-year-old seems to thrive on the big stage for the Netherlands, as he also netted three times at the last World Cup, meaning half of his 12 international goals have come at major tournaments.
Off the back of a 16-goal season at club level with Liverpool, it should be no surprise to see Gakpo playing well and there should be no doubts about him retaining his place in the starting XI.
Gakpo opened the scoring against Romania last time out and also scored his country's first goal in the tournament. He's more likely than most to break the deadlock on Saturday.
Turkey have provided plenty of entertainment at these finals, but they have also felt the wrath of referees more than most, as no team has come even close to picking up more yellow cards than the Crescent-Stars' total of 18.
It has to be pointed out that 11 of those cautions did come in their bad-tempered decisive group game with the Czech Republic, but that also underlined that Montella's team are liable to lose their cool when the pressure is on.
By contrast, the Dutch have picked up only four yellow cards - the fewest of any side still left in the competition - and in a match where they are likely to see plenty of the ball, they will expect to keep that tally in check once again.
Given Turkey has received more than four times the amount of bookings than that of the Netherlands, it is not a stretch to imagine Montella's side picking up two more cards than their opponents.
