Denis Bouanga was the hero once again for LAFC as he scored a brace to earn them a 3-1 win at Orlando City to keep them in second place in the Western Conference.

The biggest moves this week are the LA Galaxy, who shoot up from ninth last week to fifth thanks to their impressive 4-2 victory over Sporting Kansas City at the weekend.

A goalless stalemate at home to Nashville might seem like an opportunity missed, but it’s a point that takes New York Red Bulls up to third place in the Eastern Conference and sixth in our MLS Power Rankings.

A disappointing weekend for Minnesota United saw them suffer a 2-0 defeat at Seattle Sounders. A bad game was capped off with Moses Nyeman being shown a red card in the 90th minute for the visitors at Lumen Field.

Kerwin Vargas’ goal just before the break proved to be the difference as Charlotte earned a 1-0 home win over DC United.

Colombus Crew impressed on the road at Yankee Stadium to leave the Big Apple with all three points, thanks in part to Illenic’s sending-off.

It was a weekend to forget for Toronto as they gave away three second-half goals to lose 4-1 at home to strugglers Chicago Fire.

It was a poor weekend for Canadian teams in general, as Vancouver came away from New England Revolution with a 3-2 defeat.

Cole Bassett and Rafael Navarro struck on either side of half-time as Colorado Rapids earned a 2-0 win over Austin at DSG Park.

Noel Buck, Giacomo Vrioni and Esmir Bajraktarevic all found the back of the net for New England Revolution as they notched up their fifth win of the season against the Whitecaps.

Sporting Kansas City are just hanging in on our MLS Power Rankings top 15 after what was a disappointing 4-2 defeat at LA Galaxy.
