Inter Miami vs. CF Montreal: Picks, Predictions, Odds and Player Props

Inter Miami will be confident of earning revenge when they take on CF Montreal on Saturday night in Quebec, just weeks after they fell to a 3-2 defeat to the Canadian outfit.

Le CFM recorded a shock victory on their travels back in March against Inter Miami, but they have failed to build on that. Laurent Courtois' team are winless in four in all competitions, but three of those results have been draws, suggesting they have shown some fighting spirit in recent weeks.

The same cannot be said of Gerardo Martino's troops, who sit at the top of the standings after 12 fixtures, although teams around them do have at least one game in hand.

CF Montreal vs. Inter Miami betting picks and predictions

Inter Miami to win (-110)

Inter will look to make it five wins in succession when they take the field this weekend.

After a run of five games without a win in March and April, Martino's side have found their groove in recent weeks.

Victories over Sporting KC, Nashville SC, New England and New York Red Bulls have catapulted them to the top of the standings, and they now hold a three-point cushion over Cincinnati.

Inter's upturn in form has coincided with Lionel Messi's return from injury, and he should be able to influence another victory.

Since beating Inter in March, Montreal have won one of their previous eight matches in all competitions. Surprisingly, that success came in a 2-1 win over Cincinnati, but they have been largely inconsistent and should struggle to keep Martino's men at bay.

Over 3.5 goals (+125)

Games involving Inter are always bound to be entertaining, and they have scored the most goals in the MLS after the first 12 matches.

Martino's men have found the back of the net 32 times in 12 games, which is 11 more than LA Galaxy, who are second in the scoring charts.

Inter have won seven of their opening 12 games in an entertaining fashion, and there should be no signs of that slowing down on Saturday evening.

Montreal have conceded the most goals in the Eastern Conference with 20, while only the Portland Timbers and San Jose Earthquakes have conceded more in the entire MLS.

Rather than back a one-sided victory, over 3.5 goals should be the safe way to play, especially with Inter last keeping a clean sheet at the start of March.

Martino's side have conceded in 13 consecutive matches in all competitions, and we could witness another chaotic game this weekend.

Luis Suarez to score anytime (+100)

It will come as no surprise to see that Luis Suarez and Messi have scored the majority of Inter's goals so far this season.

The pair have both found the net on 10 occasions, with Suarez reaching that milestone in 11 appearances, while Messi has played in three fewer games than his fellow South American.

Messi has also picked up 12 assists, but it is Suarez that offers more value in the anytime scorer market.

The former Liverpool frontman scored a hat-trick during the 6-2 success over the Red Bulls, and he now has four goals from his last two appearances.

Suarez has five goals in four appearances, and he clearly has the goalscoring touch at the minute. While the iron is hot, it makes sense to back Suarez to put his name on the scoresheet this weekend.

He was only given 14 minutes to catch the eye during the previous meeting between the two teams, but with Suarez expected to start, it is tough to overlook him this Saturday.

While the Uruguayan is past his best at the age of 37, he has yet to lose that magic touch in front of goal. He will also have had a week's rest since his hat-trick, so there should be no need for Martino to tread carefully with the veteran striker.
