Take him to score anytime at +260, while his odds of +550 to score the final goal are tempting given that he’s done that in three of Argentina’s last five games.

One feature of this Argentina side has been that they tend to finish well, but it can take them some time to get going. They failed to score before half-time in any of their three group games, before going on to win each of those in the second half.

While they did step things up in the knockout stages, Argentina were against weaker opponents in an underwhelming Ecuador side and surprise semi-finalists Canada. This meeting with Colombia is set to be trickier.

La Tricolor have conceded in just two of their five games at the Copa America this summer. They’ve progressed through the knockout stages without conceding, so they aren’t likely to give a lot away early on. Ultimately, the class of Argentina should make the difference in Miami.

Over recent years, Argentina has lifted the Copa America in 2021, the CONMEBOL-UEFA Super Cup in 2022 and the World Cup later that year. This squad knows how to get over the line in major tournaments, but it might take them some time in Miami.
