Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders could be the first QB selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, but unlike many top prospects on teams who missed the College Football Playoff in recent years, Sanders will play in his team's bowl game.
The Buffs (9-3) take on their Big 12 rival BYU Cougars (10-2) in the Alamo Bowl, and Sanders, the 2024 Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, is set to lead his team for the final time in his college career.
Of course, his father being the coach of the Buffaloes might have something to do with the fact he's playing, but the game takes on extra meaning as it is against a conference rival who also narrowly missed the Playoff.
This season, Sanders put up impressive numbers as he completed 74.2 percent of his passes for 3,926 yards and a 35-8 TD-INT ratio. His completion percentage led all of Division I College Football this season, and his career completion rate of 71.8 percent is the all-time best entering the 2024 Alamo Bowl.
Sanders ended the regular season on a positive note, throwing for at least three TD passes in each of his last four games, although his team was eliminated from Big 12 title contention with a loss to Kansas in its second-to-last game.
Ahead of his last College Football game - and the last chance scouts will have to look at him in a competitive contest - let's take a look at Sanders' player props, lines and odds for the Alamo Bowl.
