Shedeur Sanders Player Props & Odds This Week vs. Saints

Shedeur Sanders is in line for his first start of the 2026 season against the Saints this week.

The Cleveland Browns selected Shedeur Sanders in the fifth-round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and started seven games a rookie. In those seven games, Sanders had a 3-4 record and was responsible for more than half of the Browns victories last season.

Unfortunately for Sanders, he has been relegated to the backup role behind Deshaun Watson this season. Watson missed all of last season recovering from a torn Achilles, but has been been quite competent to start the year.

Sitting at 5-3, the Browns have a legitimate chance of making the playoffs this year. Unfortunately Watson has been ruled out for Week 9 with a concussion, but that is good news for Sanders who will have the opportunity to start his first game of 2026 against the New Orleans Saints.

Last year, Sanders completed 120 of 212 pass attempts (56.6% completion) for 1,400 yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Although he was not great statistically, Sanders has an ability to push the ball down the field.
