American sprinter Sha'Carri Richardson enters the Olympics as the favorite to win the women's 100m track and field event.
She heads to Paris as the -167 favorite to win gold in the women's 100m.
The second-favorite, Shericka Jackson of Jamaica, is priced at +400.
Richardson holds the joint-fifth-fastest women's 100m time in history at 10.65 seconds, which she set at the 2023 World Athletics Championships while winning the gold medal.
In June 2024, Richardson won the 100m at the US Olympic Trials with a time of 10.71 seconds, 0.09 seconds ahead of second-placed Melissa Jefferson. Richardson finished fourth in the 200m event at the Olympic Trials, so the 100m is the only event she will run in the upcoming Olympics.
Richardson won the women's 100m at the 2023 Doha Diamond League - an annual track and field meet in Doha, Qatar - with a 10.76 time.
The American sprinter has dominated in every competition ahead of this summer's games, and she will look to continue her form in Paris.
