WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces are on the brink of reaching the second round of the playoffs on their quest for a three-peat.
Las Vegas, the back-to-back reigning WNBA champions, are up 1-0 in a best-of-three set vs. the Seattle Storm.
The Aces have a chance to become the second team ever to win three-straight titles, and would join the Houston Comets, the winners of the first four WNBA championships from 1997 to 2000.
Wilson (21 points, 8 rebounds, 5 blocks) helped Las Vegas come from behind to win Game 1 against Seattle, 78-67. The Storm led by one entering the fourth quarter before scoring just two points in the final 10 minutes.
