Two of the MLS Western Conference's biggest clubs, the Seattle Sounders and Los Angeles FC, face off in the Leagues Cup quarterfinals.
LAFC have only been in MLS since 2018, but they have one MLS Cup, two Supporters' Shields, and two Western Conference playoff championships to their name.
The Sounders joined MLS nine years before LAFC, and they were the dominant side in the West right before LAFC's ascent. They won MLS Cup in 2016 and 2019, plus the Supporters' Shield in 2014.
On Saturday, we'll see which team takes one more step toward winning the first Leagues Cup in club history.
Seattle Sounders vs. Los Angeles FC will be streamed exclusively on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, which requires a subscription.
Seattle Sounders vs. LAFC is scheduled to kick off at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on Saturday, August 17 with the game taking place at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington.
