Sean O'Malley Odds to beat Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 316

Sean O'Malley will enter Saturday's UFC 316 main event against bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili with plenty of motivation.

Last time out, in September 2024, 'Suga' lost the title to Dvalishvili via unanimous decision. It was O'Malley's first loss since 2020, and he'll look to get back in the win column with this rematch against the champion.

Dvalishvili has won his 12 UFC fights after he lost his first two bouts in the promotion. He's fought once since beating O'Malley, when he retained the bantamweight title via unanimous decision by handing Umar Nurmagomedov his first career loss.

Entering UFC 316, O'Malley is the +225 moneyline underdog. He's also +600 to win by decision, +400 to win by KO/TKO, and +2500 to win by submission.

Dvalishvili is known for his grappling, which is the main reason why all but one of his UFC wins have come via decision. O'Malley has the edge in knockout power, having won 60% of his fights by that method and the other 40% by decision.
