Manly have been hit by the news Karl Lawton has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury, while the Gold Coast have lost Jayden Campbell for eight weeks due to a hamstring issue.
The Sea Eagles are priced at 17/10 to make the top eight, the Titans 18/1 , and both sides will now be missing key players.
Manly have it worse following the news Lawton will not play again this season. They have already lost star fullback Tom Trbojevic for the campaign and now coach Des Hasler also loses the versatile Lawton.
A statement on the club’s website read: “Manly Warringah Sea Eagles back-rower Karl Lawton has been ruled out of the remainder of the Telstra Premiership season.
“Scans have confirmed Lawton suffered a ruptured ACL in the win over the Warriors at 4 Pines Park on Saturday night.”

Meanwhile the Titan will lose Campbell after the youngster picked up a hamstring injury in the defeat to the Cowboys on Thursday night.
The hamstring injury is at the top end of the scale and will take time to rehabilitate.
“Scans have revealed Gold Coast Titans fullback Jayden Campbell has sustained a high grade tear of his hamstring, involving the proximal intramuscular tendon,” the Gold Coast said on their website.
“This will rule out the live-wire No. 1 for the next eight weeks, as he works with club medicos to rehab and recover from the injury.”
