Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has 1,649 combined rushing and receiving yards through 11 games, and he has a chance to break the single-season record.
Chris Johnson currently holds the record for rushing and receiving yards in a single season from when he posted 2,509 total yards for the Tennessee Titans back in 2009, which earned him the 'CJ2K' nickname.
Barkley needs 861 total yards in his remaining six games to break the record.
Entering the Eagles' Week 13 game against the Baltimore Ravens, Barkley is +350 to end the season with Over 2,509.5 yards and break Johnson's record.
Against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12, Barkley had a career-high 302 yards from scrimmage split between 255 rush yards and 47 receiving yards. He had two touchdowns in the game, which saw his Offensive Player of the Year odds move to -300 and his MVP odds move to +500.
Barkley has averaged just under 150 yards per game this season. If he posts exactly 150 yards in each of his remaining six games, he'll end the season with 2,549 yards, which will be more than enough to break the record.
Through his first 11 games this season, Barkley has surpassed 150 all-purpose yards in five of them.
He had gone near 200 yards in two of the three games immediately preceding his 302-yard outburst against the Rams - he posted 199 yards in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars and went for 198 in Week 11 against the Washington Commanders.
The Eagles have the Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Commanders, Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants remaining on the schedule.
The Panthers, Cowboys, Giants and Commanders are the NFL's bottom four teams in terms of rush yards allowed per game, while the Ravens and Steelers have two of the league's best rush defenses.
