Two teams with exciting talent that project to be on the playoff bubble meet to begin the 2025 MLB regular season as the San Francisco Giants visit the Cincinnati Reds on Opening Day.
The Giants are led by Matt Chapman, free-agent signing Willy Adames, and centerfielder Jung Hoo Lee, who missed most of last season due to injury. Elly De La Cruz is the Reds' star, and he's joined in the lineup by a healthy Matt McLain and new faces Gavin Lux and Austin Hays.
Plus, both teams are opening the season with their ace starting pitcher: Cincinnati has Hunter Greene on the mound, while the Giants have Logan Webb.
