The No. 7 Alabama Crimson Tide has played three close games in as many weeks, and star WR Ryan Williams will look to make an impact on the crucial SEC matchup against the No. 11 Tennessee Volunteers in Week 8.
Williams has caught 23 passes for 576 yards and six TDs, and his 25.0 yards per reception average leads all Division I football players. He also has a rushing TD this season, which he scored in his team's only loss of the season on October 5 against Vanderbilt.
The Crimson Tide played close games on either side of their loss, escaping then-No. 2 Georgia by a 41-34 score in Week 5 and most recently beating South Carolina 27-25.
But with a loss on their record while playing in a conference jam-packed with talent, there is little room for error even with the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff beginning this season.
The true freshman wide receiver has only one multi-touchdown game this season, which was in Week 1's 63-0 shutout win over Western Kentucky. He caught two passes in that game, both for touchdowns, and averaged 69.5 yards per catch for a total of 139 yards in that game.
Williams' most impressive game was against Georgia, as he caught six passes for 177 yards - both career highs - and found the end zone.
In Week 8, Williams will be up against the a defense that ranks 19th in fewest pass yards allowed per game and fifth in fewest passing TDs allowed per game.
Ahead of his clash with Tennessee's elite defense, let's take a look at Williams' player props, odds and lines for Week 8.
