Garcia enters this fight with a professional boxing record of 24-1.

He made his debut in June 2016, winning his first 10 fights in a row before earning his first title opportunity in September 2017, where he beat Mario Antonio Macias by knockout to claim the North American Boxing Federation Junior Super Featherweight title.

He defended this title in November 2017, March 2018, and May 2018 while also winning the WBO NABO Super Featherweight title in May 2018. His next title opportunity was in November 2019, when he won the WBC Silver Lightweight and WBO Lightweight titles.

Garcia successfully defended his WBC Silver Lightweight title in February 2020 before winning the WBC Interim World Lightweight title in January 2021.

Garcia’s winning streak finally came to an end in April 2023 when he lost to Gervonta Davis by knockout.

Since that loss, Garcia has had one win, against Oscar Duarte Jurado in December 2023, and one no-contest, versus Devin Haney in April of last year.

Throughout his career, Garcia has won 20 times by knockout/technical knockout and four times by decision, while his only loss was by knockout.

Rolly Romero record

Romero enters this fight with a professional boxing record of 16-2.

He made his professional debut in December 2016, beating David Courtney by technical knockout before going on to win his first 14 fights in a row up to July 2021.

Romero's first career loss came in May 2022 against Gervonta Davis but he recovered a year later to see off Ismael Barroso.

In March 2024, he suffered another setback when he lost to Isaac Cruz. Since this second loss, Romero has fought once - a win against Manuel Jaimes in September 2024 by unanimous decision.

Over the course of his professional career, Romero has won 13 times by knockout/technical knockout and three times by decision, while both of his losses have come via knockout.
