Ryan Garcia is a huge -1200 favorite to defeat Rolando “Rolly” Romero when the two face off in a welterweight bout in New York City’s Times Square on Friday night.
Garcia vs. Romero is the main event on a card that also features Devin Haney vs. Jose Ramirez and Arnold Barboza Jr. facing Teofimo Lopez for the WBO super lightweight title.
The entire ‘Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves’ card is set to take place at an outdoor ring in Times Square, and with no traditional crowd seating planned for the event, the fights could see up to 100,000 people in attendance. All three fights will be shown globally on DAZN pay-per-view.
‘King Ry’ is favored to defeat Romero by knockout, technical knockout or DQ (-400), with a victory via decision or technical decision priced at +400.

Garcia, long known for his incredible talent in the ring but antics outside it, has a point to prove on Friday night. The last time we saw the 26-year-old in action was over a year ago on April 20, 2024, when he shocked the world by defeating Devin Haney via majority decision in Las Vegas.
The fight was meant to be for the WBC super lightweight title, but Garcia came in 2.3 pounds overweight, making him ineligible for the belt.
He then put on a clinic over 12 rounds against Haney, but glory was stripped soon after when Garcia tested positive for a banned substance. The fight was ultimately ruled no contest, and Haney’s undefeated 31-0 record was preserved.
Garcia was later suspended for a year by the New York State Athletic Commission, but is now eligible for Friday’s bout vs. Romero.
