Rolly Romero Odds to Win vs. Ryan Garcia in May 2 fight

Rolando "Rolly" Romero is set to main event the 'Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves' card in Times Square, New York, on Friday night when he takes on Ryan Garcia.

Romero enters this bout as the distant +650 underdog.

The entire card is set to take place in an outdoor ring in Times Square, and with no traditional seating planned, the fights could see 100,000 people attend. All three fights will be broadcast on DAZN pay-per-view.

Romero is +1200 to win by KO/TKO/DQ and is +1800 to win via decision or technical decision. Garcia vs. Romero is +350 to go the distance.

In his previous four fights heading into this one, Romero is 2-2. He lost to Gervonta Davis via sixth-round TKO in May 2022, beat Ismael Barroso via ninth-round TKO in May 2023, lost to Isaac Cruz by eighth-round TKO in March 2024, and most recently beat Manuel Jaimes via unanimous decision in September.

Davis, who handed Romero his first career loss, beat Garcia via seventh-round KO in April 2023, just under a year after he beat Romero.

Romero has won 16 of his 18 career fights, and 13 of those wins came via knockout. He won the first 14 fights of his professional career, and 12 of those were by KO.

Born in Las Vegas, Romero won't have the home crowd advantage in New York. But he suffered one of his two losses — his most recent one — in Vegas, so he may benefit from hitting the road for this big bout.
